The third year of Amiga Format saw the release of issues 25 to 36 and the popularity of the magazine grew even further with the claim changing from "Europe's Biggest and Best-Selling Amiga Magazine" to "The World's Best-Selling Amiga Magazine" by issue 28 on the banner of every magazine.
The Amiga market was at this time vibrant and full of new software and hardware every month. The Amiga marque attracted many games developers and the Amiga community had never seen such dizzying heights. Arguably, Amiga Format also peaked in year three seeing issue 30 top 300 pages.
