The Trilogic MIDI 2 Interface provided 5 MIDI port connections, two of which were configurable as OUT or THRU ports by the use of a switch. It connected to the Amiga via the serial interface and could be used to control external MIDI instruments such as drum machines and electronic keyboards.
Alternatively, through the use of software such as the full blown MIDI sequencer software, Music X, Sequencer One or Bars and Pipes, or MIDI enabled tracker software such as Octamed, entire recordings could be sequenced including sound samples that were acquired with a suitable sound sampler.
